Chambord Castle
The largest castle in the Loire region is located in the department of Loir-et-Cher 15 km east of Blois and 2 hours south of Paris. Its construction began in the early sixteenth century. It is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This castle is located in the heart of the largest forest in Europe ended. This forest has 50 square kilometers and is surrounded by 32 km of walls around the whole.
