Luxembourg Gardens
Luxembourg Gardens is a posh palace and park ensemble, bred in the heart of Paris - Latin Quarter.
It was founded in 1613 on the orders of Queen Marie de Medici in the territory that belonged to the monastery of the Cartesians. Today's garden area is 26 hectares, and it is a real green oasis, located in the center of the vast metropolis.
The garden has many beautiful and quiet corners, various walkways, conservatories strange and stunning fountains. Get to this wonderful place to travel by underground, you must go to the stations Notre-Dame-des-Champs, or RER.
