Caves of Arcy-sur-Cure

Caves of Arcy-sur-Cure is located just 20 kilometers from the town of Avalon . Among these unique caves that have been carved by groundwater in the limestone reef, you can see the rare examples of stalactites and stalagmites.

Scientists estimate the age of the cave is more than 200 thousand years. On their walls survived many drawings made by ancient people of bright red paint.
