Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild
Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild was erected in the years 1905-1912 at Cape Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat in the vicinity of the Cote d'Azur. Today it is only open to visit a historical monument on the coast. In the olden days it was owned by Baroness Béatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild, that stalwart could transform a small fishing village in the famous French Riviera. Baroness was a renowned collector and connoisseur of the arts. Until now, the magnificent halls of the villa contains a unique pieces of furniture, rare paintings, a magnificent Saxon porcelain and handmade carpets.
Exterior facade of the villa recalls vintage Renaissance palaces. A villa surrounded by nine splendid gardens stylized Spanish, Sevres Stone, Florence, Exotic, Japanese, French, Provencal, and the Rosary.
