Island Sainte-Marguerite

Sainte-Marguerite Island is the largest of the Lérins Islands located in the popular resort area of France. This island is located just 1 kilometer from Cannes and occupies a width of 900 meters and 3 kilometers long.

On the island is very beautiful nature. Most of it is covered by dense vegetation - pines, eucalyptus trees, vines, flowers. At Sainte-Marguerite created excellent conditions for recreation, equipped with excellent beaches and amazing hiking trails. Locals refer to the island of St. Marguerite cicadas. Loud chirping of these insects is heard everywhere here.

The island is also famous for its interesting landmarks, Sea Museum and Fort Royal .
