Cheverny Castle

This castle, which belongs to the same family for 600 years, is located in the town of Cheverny, 14 km southeast of Blois, or 2 hours south-west of Paris.

On the front you will see busts of Roman emperors. Inside many rooms to visit, all being composed of furniture and accessories from the fifteenth to the eighteenth century. There including the King's Chamber, the most richly decorated with large paintings and tapestries. Not to mention the armory, library, hallway, large lounge which exposed several portraits, the dining room with its solid oak furniture, etc..

In the park there are nearly 100 hectares to visit. The main driveway to the castle impresses with its 6 km long. Then the beautiful flower garden and vegetable garden will amaze you. For hunting enthusiasts, the castle houses a hundred dogs in court in his kennel.

The nearest train station is Blois. From there a taxi can take you to the castle.
