Musée Granet

Granet Museum, named after a famous painter from Aix nineteenth century, is located in the city center of Aix-en-Provence, close to the Saint-Jean-de-Malte Parish .
The museum offers hundreds of paintings dating from the fourteenth to the twentieth century from a very large number of different painters. There including François Marius Granet who gave his name to the museum and bequeathed him all his works. We can also see for example the works of Pablo Picasso, Paul Cezanne and Alberto Giacometti. Some sculptures are also on display.
The exhibits are divided into several sections: the old paintings, the works of these two centuries and sculpture gallery. The whole constitutes the permanent collections. Temporary exhibitions are regularly offered as well as a few events.
The bus stop "Saint John" is one of the closest to the place, the museum will be located a few hundred meters to the northwest.
